Things you need to be aware of before you ship internationally

Obviously, it’d also make a nice gift to show your care to your friends and families living abroad since there are so many products to choose from. However, are you aware of the regulations and restrictions imposed by the Customs on medicine and health supplements?

If you’re thinking about shipping prescription medicine and health supplements internationally, here are several important things to make note of before you start packing them.

1. 1. All products that contain drugs and medicine are contraband items in Controlled Imports, hence these products aren’t allowed to ship internationally.
2. 2. Restricted products include but are not limited to Chinese and Western oral drugs, and topical medical product such as ointment.

1. 1. You can at most ship 12 bottles/ boxes of ingot or capsule supplements, and a maximum total of 36 bottles/ boxes; the maximum weight is 6KG.
2. 2. Beware that while vitamins with high dosage may be considered as a health supplement in other countries, it is in fact counted as a medicine in Taiwan, hence you can only ship at most 2 bottles/ boxes.
3. 3. Oral ingot or capsule supplements are not allowed to exceed 2400 pills.
4. 4. Remember to fill in the pre-declaration form, and input the type and name of the health supplements, such as Vitamin C or Probiotics etc.
5. 5. We suggest that you mark down the details of your health supplement, so you can refer to it anytime.

1. 1. The Government of Japan has strict regulations on the import of health supplement and vitamins, hence these products aren’t allowed to ship there.

Ship to Korea: health supplements and vitamins

1. 1. The maximum amount of health supplements is 6 bottles/ boxes per head.
2. 2. Remember to fill in the pre-declaration form, and input the type and name of the health supplements, such as Vitamin C or Probiotics etc.
